Good evening! We are so excited for our Mock Meet. This is our first opportunity to host a meet in our new pool, and will be a fun learning experience for all of us. 

Thank you to all of our Mock Meet Volunteers. The linked list shows what you have signed up for; we still need one runner during the meet and help with cleanup. 

Mock Meet Details (6/6/2023)

4 pm Set-up crew arrives

4:30 pm Swimmers need to be at the pool. We will take a team photo before race numbers are written on the swimmers and warm-ups happen. Swimmers need to enter through the pool bar area and check in. 

4:30-5 pm Team photos, then race numbers written on swimmers and prep for warmups 

5-5:30 pm Volunteers - please check-in in the pool bar area 

5:15-5:45 pm Team Warmups 

5:45 pm Timer Meeting by the announcer's table 

6 pm Meet Starts 

Important things to remember

• All swimmers must enter through the pool bar area and check in upon arrival.
• Pack extra towels, warm clothes for between races, a cap, goggles, and snacks.
• Concessions are available through the swim team, so please bring cash. As a reminder, the bar itself is closed, and you cannot charge concessions to your Bentwinds account.
• Parents can stand or sit on the deck (in a designated area) to watch the swim meet; please bring chairs if you would like to sit. The pool chairs will be stacked and put away. 
• TSA rules prohibit alcohol during a swim meet
• Please pick up all your belongings and trash before leaving at the end of the swim meet. 
• Ribbons will be available during the practice following meets; each child will have a folder with their name on it, and coaches can direct the swimmers to the bin.
• During the regular meet season, home team warm-ups are from 4:45-5:15 pm, and visitor team warmups are from 5:15-5:45 pm. 
• The lost and found is overflowing with suits, goggles, shoes, and towels the guards collected after swim team practice. Please check the pile; anything remaining after this week will be donated to Goodwill.
