Hello, Swim Families!

We have had a great summer swim season that is drawing to a close. This email is very long but full of details about 3 important things that need your attention; the July 18th meet, the TSA Championship Meet, and the End of Season Celebration.

July 18 is our last regular season home meet vs. Crooked Creek. This will be a fun and large meet. We need your help with a few things.

1) Declare your swimmer by 5 pm on Sunday, July 16.

2) Sign up to volunteer! We appreciate those of you that keep stepping up meet after meet. Please remember each family needs to volunteer a minimum of 3 times per season, and 2 of those 3 times need to be things other than bringing food for concessions. Please remember there will be a $100 charge on your July statement if your family did not meet volunteer expectations. Volunteers can be older siblings, kids who need volunteer hours, grandparents, and other fans if you know of anyone interested.

July 22 is the TSA Championship Meet at Triangle Aquatic Center

Signup is now open for this meet. This meet is optional but a fun way to compete against swimmers from other teams in the county. You must declare your swimmer's attendance by 5 pm on Sunday, July 16, for them to participate.

Meet details:
10 and under Warm-Up: 7:30 – 8:15 a.m.
10 and under Start Time: 8:30 a.m.
11 and older Warm-Up: Not Before 12:30 p.m. (to be announced)
11 and older Start Time: Not before 1:30 p.m. (to be announced)

Swimmers for the morning session must meet their coaches or Team Representative in a designated Team area in the parking lot at 6:45 am. They will then enter the pool as a team.

Swimmers for the afternoon session will meet their coaches or Team Representative in a designated Team area in the parking lot. No afternoon swimmers will be allowed on deck before warm-ups.

Spectators may not enter the building until all teams have entered.

Parents must meet their swimmer OUTSIDE at the end of the session – the lobby must be kept clear!!

Spectators must clear the gallery and all belongings between the morning and afternoon sessions.

We must provide volunteers based on the number of kids we have participating. This signup will be sent out after we declare our swimmers. Each participant will also need to do a waiver.

End of Season Celebration- July 28

We will celebrate our season on July 28 from 6-8 PM at the Bentwinds Pool with Awards, DJ, Pool Games and BBQ Dinner. Please RSVP in swimtopia so we can know how much food is needed. This is open to the whole family.
