Good afternoon Barracudas! 

Looking ahead to tomorrows meet here are a few reminders to help you prepare for the evening. (Please read to the end for all the helpful information)

-Please ensure your swimmer is at the pool by 5:15 PM at the latest.  Coaches will be greeting swimmers to check them in and take to designated team spot.

-Warm ups begin promptly at 5:30pm. 

-Please go ahead and have the swimmers number on both arms and last name on the back of shoulder in permanent black marker. 

-Designated areas will be set for each age group. Please make sure your child stays in the designated areas to help the kid pushers. We suggest they bring an extra towel to sit on and pack some fun games, coloring, etc for in between heats. See below for more away meet info that pertains to Glenridge in particular. 

-Weather looks good. High temp is mid 80s so maybe the evening will cool a bit. You may want to pack that great swag of PJ bottoms and/or sweatshirt for in between events.

-Cheer for your team mates of all ages and levels of ability. 

-If you must leave the meet early please check in with the coaches first. 

-Heat Sheets can be found on Swimtopia or the Swimtopia app.   You may have already received a notification via Swimtopia that the Heat Sheets are posted.

Meet Management: We will have a Pre-Meet Briefing/Timer Meeting at 5:40pm, ALL volunteers report to the front of the pool clubhouse at that time. 

Location and Parking Information: The pool is located at: 100 Autumngate Drive, Cary, NC 27518 

Parking: The parking lot at the pool is very small and limited. Please park along one side of Autumngate Drive and Copper Hill Drive as you enter the neighborhood. Cones will be marked to block off one side for emergency vehicles. If families can carpool, that would help with some of the parking shortage and distance they would have to walk to the pool. 

Facility: Visitors are encouraged to bring a folding chair(s) and/or a tent as there is limited seating. 

Barracuda swimmers can set up on the right-hand side of the pool from entry gate. 

This is a 5 lane 25 Yard pool with lights so we can swim past dusk if necessary. Glenridge swims in lanes 1, 3, and 5 for main events, with lane 1 being exhibition. The visiting team swims in lanes 2 and 4 for main events. Glenridge swims in lanes 1, 3, and 5 for heats. The visiting team swims in lanes 2 and 4 for heats. 

Concessions: You will be able to purchase pizza, drinks, candy, and snacks. This is located inside the clubhouse doors. CASH only please.
