Good Afternoon Barracuda Families,

First, we would like to say congrats on yet another great WIN last night against Crooked Creek!

Super excited for some 4th of July fun for Wacky Wednesday tonight! Just as a reminder this will take place from 5-7 pm for all age groups.

Additionally, we will have a Chipotle fundraiser on July 10th from 4-8pm and would love as much participation as possible!

Lastly, we will be participating in the championship meet at the Triangle Aquatic Center (TAC) on Sunday, July 21. The registration deadline will be July 10 and this is open via the Barracudas Swimtopia page/app. This swim meet is very different than our 6 regular season meets, this meet gives the kids (and parents) an idea of how year round swim meets run. This meet is hosted by TSA and we compete with all teams in the league. At this swim meet kids will be able to compete against many other swimmers from other TSA teams. The meet is broken into two sessions; 11 & up takes place in the morning, 10 & under takes place in the afternoon. *if you have a 6 and under swimmer they must be able to swim the entire length of the pool as they will swim a full 25 and there is no kid catchers for their event*. This meet is a great opportunity for some fun and fast swimming in a large indoor swimming facility. We encourage everyone to signup and attend! Please note for this meet parents/ spectators are not allowed to be on the pool deck so sign up early so we can coordinate the logistics. In addition to this as with regular season meets, this meet needs volunteers to do many of the same jobs we need at regular season swim meets. These meets cannot be run, managed or even held without volunteers to step up and take on a job. We encourage parents to also volunteer for the championship meet!
