Good Morning Swim Team!

We are excited about tonight's meet at Bella Casa. It looks to be a close one based on seeded times, so we are encouraging everyone to give it their all, and let's cheer all our swimmers on with our Barracuda pride!

Heat sheets have been published and are available in the Swimtopia app. Please note, Coaches, have been working hard getting time trials for all swimmers so we can have the most competitive heats while ensuring all kids get to swim. Per TSA rules, 6 and unders can swim in 2 out of the 3 individual events towards points and all other swimmers can compete in 3 out of the 4 individual events. You will notice the heat sheets reflect this. 

Please arrive by 5:15 PM at the latest this evening to get checked in and remember the following:

• Swimmer's numbers on their upper arm- Bella Casa does not allow any sharpies other than on arms, do not allow your swimmer to write anywhere else on their body. 
• Parking and deck space is limited, there are a lot of swimmers participating tonight, please read below to be prepared. 
• Concessions are available via venmo and cash. 

MEET DETAILS

• Tuesday, June 23- Arrive by 5:15 PM to be checked in.
• Warm Ups begin at 5:30 PM with meet promptly beginning at 6 PM. 

LOCATION AND PARKING INFORMATION 

Pool is located at 2700 Evans Rd, Apex, NC 27502. From Hwy 64 West, take the Kelly Rd exit. Turn Right on Olive Chapel Rd. Turn Left onto Apex Barbeque Rd. Turn Right onto Evans Rd. The pool is located on the corner of Evans Rd and Milano Ave.

PARKING 

The parking lot is small and street parking will be necessary. Parking is allowed on either side of Milano Ave (as there are sidewalks) and on the side of Lazio Lane with a sidewalk. There is no parking on Evans Rd. 

There is a private property located just next to our community pool that allows overflow parking in their field for a fee of $5.00. This money is collected by one of our volunteers, but it is then given to the private family who is not a member of the Bella Casa community. They ask that no one parks in their lot if it has rained within 24 hours of our meet to keep their land free of tire damage.

Please adhere to the Town of Apex parking regulations. Apex PD have been called in the past and written citations. 

FACILITY 

They have a small and sunny pool deck. Visitors are encouraged to bring a folding chair and/or a tent. We accommodate all the swimmers first, and parents can stand in any remaining spaces. Bentwinds will bring our three tents for Barraccuda Swimmers. 

There are overflow areas outside of the fence by the playground and field side of the pool. They post and announce each event so that families can enter the pool deck to cheer on their swimmers for their individual events.

Bentwinds swimmers will set up on the 4-Square court near the playground as well as on the pool deck side closest to Evans Rd (along Lane 6 side). 

They have a 6-lane 25-yard pool with permanent deck lights and are licensed to operate past dusk. 

CONCESSIONS 

They offer concessions where swimmers and families can purchase food, snacks and drinks. We have a grill on-site and will offer burgers and hot dogs for purchase as well as Chick-fil-A and pizza. Concessions are provided through the clubhouse “window” just inside the front gate. No swimmers are allowed in the clubhouse. Cash and Venmo are accepted. Sunset Slush is scheduled to be onsite to provide additional concessions for purchase in our parking lot. 

SHARPIE POLICY 

We are a "No Sharpie on the Back" pool. Our HOA purchased new deck chairs with fabric that may be damaged by ink transfer. Please do not write on backs or shoulders. You may still write your swimmer's arms their number. 

PRE-MEET BRIEFING 

There will be a pre-meet briefing at 5:45 pm in the parking lot just outside the main entrance to the pool. 

Please note, any last-minute day of changes need to be made to the coaches as soon as possible.
