Dear Barracuda Families,

What a great meet last night! Even with the holiday week and a smaller team in attendance, our swimmers did an outstanding job. It was wonderful to see everyone giving their best effort, cheering on their teammates, and continuing to improve. We still have two regular-season meets remaining, and we look forward to seeing our swimmers continue to build on their success.

TSA Championship Meet – July 19

We need to determine our participation in the TSA Championship Meet on Sunday, July 19.

If your swimmer plans to participate, they must be declared no later than Wednesday, July 8. Please go into Swimtopia to declare them today so we can judge the commitment level.

Because this meet requires significant volunteer support and additional expenses, we will need a minimum of 10 swimmers committed in order for Bentwinds to participate.

Championship Meet Fees:

• Individual Events: $6 per event
• Relay Events: $10 per relay ($2.50 per swimmer)
• Competition Fee: $12 per swimmer

In addition to swimmer participation, Bentwinds is required to provide:

• Concession stand donations
• Stroke & Turn Judges for two sessions
• A Kid Pusher volunteer

If we have enough swimmers committed, additional volunteer sign-ups will be communicated after entries are finalized.

Senior Recognition – Tuesday, July 7

At our final home meet this coming Tuesday, July 7, we will celebrate our three graduating seniors:

• Aidan Morgan
• Sydney Triplett
• Haley Harbin

These three have been part of the Barracudas since they were young swimmers, and it has been a privilege watching them grow through the program. We hope everyone will join us as we recognize their accomplishments and thank them for their years of dedication to the team.

Please remember to log in and declare your swimmers for the July 7 meet as well by this Sunday, July 5th at 12 PM.

End of Season Awards Pool Party

The celebration is open to all swimmers and their immediate household family members. Additional family members are welcome to attend for $18 per person.

Thank you for another fantastic week. We are looking forward to finishing the season strong and celebrating everything our swimmers have accomplished together.
