Good morning everyone,

What a great Meet last night! Although we were short just a few points of a win, the Barracudas worked incredibly hard keeping the Meet neck & neck the whole time & did a fantastic job cheering one another on; so I would say it was a successful final Home Meet. Thank you for helping us celebrate our senior swimmers as well!

As we start to close out our swim season, I have just a couple important reminders:

Schedule:

Thursday July 9th we will have a special clinic in lieu of practice from some of the Men's NC State Swim Team. This is not something you'll want to miss. 6 & unders practice will proceed as usual at 5:30, & at 6pm, all remaining swimmers are invited out to the pool for a group clinic.

Tuesday July 14th is our final Meet. It is Away against Kitt's Creek. I highly encourage everyone to make this Meet so we can finish strong! Remember to declare your swimmer(s) by Sunday the 12th

Friday July 19th is our End of Season Banquet at the Pool - we will be celebrating swimmers' accomplishments, thanking the coaches, & playing some fun games! Please be sure to sign up for this event so we know how many guests to prepare for. More info to come. 

Reminders

Swim team is a success in part due to the dedication & hard work of parents. I want to thank all of you that have stepped up, branched out, & volunteered to support the Barracudas. We have one final Meet left & as Kelli mentioned, we are still in need of volunteers. Parents are asked to fulfill 3 volunteer shifts each season. For each shift left unfulfilled, it is a $100 charge, so get that last volunteer shift in! 

As we saw last night, we have many swimmers who have been with the Barracudas for years. Whether this was your first season or your fourth, we are so grateful for each & every swimmer helping us in continuing to build this community. We hope to see everyone next season (plus more!), & in the meantime, let's finish strong on our last Meet & celebrate each other at the end of the season!
